Berlin 1945 for FHSW .42 any way to make it show up? (r)

I know this forum is for .51 but I was wondering if anyone knows how to make berlin-1945 show up in the list of maps for version .42.  It's my all time fav original map, and would really love to play it.  Any help would be greatly appreciated.

This bug still exists in 0.51. It's because there's an error in the localisation file (called lexiconall.dat). They translated Berlin-1945 to simply Berlin which causes problems because there's already a map called Berlin. The devs probably never noticed that because for the Japanese version of the game it's different (ベルリン-BERLIN-) which is why it works for them.

I quickly changed it for you in v0.42, just replace the original lexiconall.dat file in your FHSW folder. Don't forget to make a backup.

This is also a problem with the Midway-1942 map. Do you think you could fix that as well, master Eye  love

we also need to publicize the berlin fix so that we can have more players join on it, its very nice map..

Thanks for the heads up, this bug only exists for users of the English version of BF1942. Playing with the German version I would've never noticed that!
