| Everybody can post event ideas in this thread.
Our idea of events is to play maps that cover a certain battle or theatre or that are in some kind similar, like the art of warfare (infantry, tanks, navel, etc.).
The event maplist is in correct historical order.

| Hope it played out well. I wasnt there to witness it cos of work :/ and dead graphics card later on. Any feedback to ssm thread (http://www.fhsw-europe.com/forum/35-855-17) is welcome!
Next event: Purely air operations:
- Battle of Britain
- Battle of Bougainville
- Operation Kikusui day 1
- Operation Kikusui day 2
- Bombing the Reich
As the events should have 4 maps, shall we drop out Op. Kikusui day 1, BoB, or Bougainville?

| Well I think we should remove boungainville. Also it's sad that we take kikusui day 1 off. That map is acually rarely played compared to other, but to keep kikusui day 2 I think that it have to be taken off.

| I'm thinking of something that may be new I don't know. I'll explain ... how about we do events with maps important battle that happened every month? For example, the battle of Iwo Jima took place in February. This month we can have an event about it, where we will play the battles of that month and choose other months to play specific battles. I just don't know if we have enough maps for that.
we do that, but in specific months like June 6th and battles on the eastern front, like the battle of stalingrad and the invasion of poland. but it would be interesting to play all the battles of that month. or do it in a few months.

I'm sorry, but I checked the time line on 1940's. There isn't much battles during early 1940 january-april.
Notable battles were: Winter war, Operation weserübung (invasion of denmark & norvay).
I think battle of france is one of those which could be played, but like u said it is anniversary on may 10.
We could continue late war events and I think we also could play africa event next.
So how about this one??
