BF crashes when I connect to the server (r)

| Hi all,
I have been playing from time to time but since last week my BF crashes each time I connect to you server. Not a discon, the loading screen is visible for a minute and just as the game almost starts BF shuts down.
Other servers work fine. I did not change my BF installation, but evidently other players can join. Do you have any ideas? I might try installing the FHSW mod new if nothing else helps.

| Hi,
no I did not see that, the download section still shows version 0.42 but the start page shows the links..
I downloaded everything vie torrent, evidently some files are corrupt (unpacking report) and BF crashed even faster now as soon as the mod is loaded. I will try again via FTP the next days, regrettably this is much slower.

Es wird bereits an einem installer gearbeitet der die installation für alle wesentlich leichter machen wird.  hoffe dich bald auf dem server begrüßen zu dürfen.

| You could try the installer that I'm currently uploading.

Part 2 should follow tomorrow.
Edit: Ok scratch that, has to be approved by an admin first.

| Jepp danke, ich glaub ich probiers erst mal über FTP. Ging halt laaangsam wärend es per Torrent mit knapp 1,5MB/s flutschte (alle drei) - aber dann bekam ich ne Meldung über korrupte Dateien beim Auspacken und es ging demenstprechend auch nicht.

I made it so that it doesn't install Fonts.rfa which only causes problems for non-Japanese players.

Das rauscht, 2500kb/s bei den Installern und die Installation beider Teile war anscheinend erfolgreich.
Das FTP beim 3. Teil ist dagegen runter auf 48kb/s das wird heute nix mehr

der installer besteht nur aus 1 und 2

| So recently I installed Win 7 32bit, for the first time ever. My BF42 (CD version) crashes as soon as I move the cursor over one of the main menu buttons. I've installed this win7 fix. Also I tried all compatibility modes. None of these helped at all. What's wrong?
EDIT:
Nevermind, I had to disable the sound hardware acceleration

Działa, tylko dźwięk jest trochę przytłumiony jakby, to bym musiał zainstalować sterownik do EAX4 też, ale nie szukałem go. Wolę FHSW włączać na XP, bo na Win 7 same problemy a FHSW się dłużej ładuje.
It works but the game sounds are like they were emitted from a tube. I belive it is caused by lack of EAX4 driver. I haven't even tried finding it as I prefer XP much more over the Win7 for FHSW gaming purposes.
