I found some footage of US soldiers from the 82nd airborne testing captured panzerfaust 60s on an abandonned tiger II

I was surprised with the degree of damage is causes to the tigers frontal armor

That's a really deep, deep hole for a panzerfaust. Could it be from the exposure to the weather that made the armor weaken for it sitting out that long unmaintained?

no, its just the effect of the shaped charge, its called the munroe effect.
