Finally after 2 years of waiting I got an answer from capo di tutti capi, FHSWman: (BTW his English seems to be good, doesnt look like google-translated)

When we received your model, we researched about maus and had planned to make its unrealized maus project (turret mounted MG151/20 and flamethrower devices). Naturally, it caused delay in development. Also another works for FHSW 0.5 made it worse (ex. sloped armor effect for all tanks. it needs to tweak all tank mesh!).
As a result, we did very little work on your maus. This is because why we didn't contact to you. We didn't completed something special to report you yet...

But now, We have completed works for sloped armor effect. Personally I'm busy till mid of january. But after that, We can ignite to our work for FHSW0.5.
Also I want to release FHSW0.5 till March, in personal thought.
Now we are planning to throw up the unrealized maus projects. And, for quick releasing 0.5, We'll implement a basic maus First of all.

That is indead good news, but i hope they will put my favorite tank in this mod. The Jagdpanzer E-100 Crocodile with the 170mm gun.

Ah, that kind of stupid gameplaying dry ! Its really a shame that everybody could do what he want without fear of getting a facepunch if he do that in real life face to face ... the moral of society goes down and down because no one have to fear the consequences in "virtual reality". Btw M1 bazooka penetrates up to 76mm. Top of the hull from Maus is 100mm. Better u sharp ur nails if bazooka sucks. But I´m shure Devs will strength up bazooka that Allies have a chance ...

Ah....well....I guess Ill just have to find a new trick then.. I dont suppose mines will do a whole lot to it either hmm...

Shame they couldnt add a feature allowing tanks to get "tracked" so the allies in their little tanks couldnt track the behemoths and run around to their backside

That would be a nice feature! And could be very usefull for vehicles like the Bergetiger.

In our community we put in a minimod in our campaignsystem, where the capacity of the screw wrench is very limited. U can only make a tank just mobile if it´s so much damaged that the engine stops and burns. Than u can drive to the next strongpoint where a toolbox and a gasbottle is placed and repair the tank completly. That was a nice feature because sometimes 5 Engineers stand behind a tank and repair so it was nearly indestructable %)!

Oh and they published it eventually smile My effort was not trashed uff. The ingame screenshots show past version of texture but the main poster contains the current look.

Why not? :P Berlin Outskirts seems to have a proper colours scheme that blends in very well with Maus' camouflage. And to be honest I dunno about map, it doesn't look like they own battle ground like Kummersdorf, perhaps BG42 could borrow one smile

One more thing, it is expected that FHSW is going to have yet another tank made by myself ^^ (I guess Mister Fellinger would like that one smile )

Well, Russians already have a big problem fighting the KT/JT on that map, I don't want to imagine how it would be with the Maus. Alpenfestung on the other hand the Maus fits quite well, Americanos can use their fighter bombers to destroy it.

Do you plan to do models in the future? It seems that you are talented with this. smile

Did you use 3ds max? Because I tried it some time ago and I couldn't export the model, it didn't create the .sm file only the .rs. sad
