Wow, that's very interesting, why would they put wheels on the back like that? I mean I consider myself proficient at military history but I really don't see any use for them, but the carriage for the gun is quite neat I must admit.

They used it for moving gun manually, since towing the gun by car could possibly damage its lafette. And since this is an airborne gun, it must be as light as possible, so this is why spoked wheels are used.
