tekktekk released new version of Battle of Leyte Gulf Day 2, which includes new ship animations/explosions you may have seen earlier and some bug fixes.

The Battle of the Sibuyan Sea
7 US carriers vs 3 Japanese battleships + some destroyers & cruisers
Objectives: US has to sink Yamato + Musashi. Japan has to destroy all carriers or reach the marked spot on the map.
Probably too big for us but interesting concept. Like on all extremely huge maps there are some headache-inducing jitters going on which you will definitely notice when flying a plane. Maybe floating-point precision errors (like the Far Lands in the old Minecraft versions).

| I like the explosions. But im affraid they will make lags ingame. The change to survive when you swim above sinkinbg ship is low and that is good. they will be killed by the explosion. I have test this!

| Really cool, I hope they use these effects also on the existing maps.
You can do a lot of effect coding with tons of options in BF1942 but it takes a lot of trial and error to get it look right.
