This is a thread to post your suggestions for the next fhsw versions. you can posts pics, videos or other stuff of vehicles, tanks, plans, ships... wicht you want to see in the next fhsw version! the FHSW devs will fallow this thread tensely cool

Please keep in mind that EVERY additional vehicle in FHSW extends the overall loading time of ALL maps!

Add at least a short reason why this vehicle should be added and not just blindly copy/paste everything that you have found somewhere on the net.
When you are about posting a request, think it twice whether excessive time spent for map loading is worth of all less significant prototypes found on the Internet, even if none of maps use them. The more doesn't stand for better, in this case. Thanks for understanding.

All suggestions so far (collected by Fritz Kempf)
All crossed entries = already added in FHSw or planned in next version.

What are your thoughts about iron sights? Forgotten Hope Extended has them: http://youtu.be/f5Xw8z_TIiY?t=26s

I downloaded it and they're pretty well made, you can't walk and shoot precisely - you have to remain still and use the sights to hit something. With that you can also shoot accurate while standing. This is a bit unrealistic in FHSW imo, where it takes a lot of time to get an accurate shot, usually you have to lay down. Firing multiple shots while standing is impossible at longer distances.

The mod also has the feature that Robert suggested: The more wounded you are the smaller is your line of sight.

Iron sides are nice, we had that implemented in our Minimod and it was a good step forward to realism.

I often thought that it is a shame not to pick out all the stunning good features from all mods and make a really amazing one out of it happy

1st: There is one thing that I miss so much in FHSW: a magnification in tank gun optics. The PaKs in Seelow Heights have zoomed sight that looks and works very well. Especially typical tank maps need such feature in my opinion. In conjunction with new "Sloped Armor Effect" and projectile tracers it would make tank battles interesting as never before.

Compare default PaK and the zoomed one (click to enlarge):

2nd naive wish: more of Objective maps! I do not demand new maps, merely current Conquest maps to be available as Objective.

ningan_yay, what do developers think about that? smile

It would be nice to have a single map to test this feature balance wise like with the sloped armor effect.

It sounds definitely nice, my only worry is that the defender's advantage would be even greater than it is now.

What would you like the new version FHSW? On this question every fan of the game is the answer. Let me write about their desires, and you tell me your opinion whether it is in the game.
1) I would really like to mods appeared on the maps already established technique, but for different reasons, it is not used in the latest version FHSW:
- German fighters Bf-109G-2/R6, G-6/U5, G-10/R4, K-10
- The Soviet Tank KV-8, KV-122, ISU-130
2) It would be nice if the game has started to FHSV models that have never failed to appear not on one of the maps:
- The battleship Iowa
- Bomber Il-4
- MG PM 1910
3) I think that we need a technique that has been in the FH, but now is not used in FHSW:
- Soviet Willys MB2, M3 Stuart, Matilda Mk II, Valentine Mk II
- French aircraft Moraine Saulnier MS 406, Curtiss Hawk P75, Dewoitine D.520
- The American Fighter Curtiss P-36C "Hawk"
- Battleship Tirpiz (model and texture is slightly different from Bismark)
- M19 Duster
4) In the FH model existed that disappeared with time. I would be happy if they came back, after alteration of course:
- Soviet destroyer Gnevny Class

- Tank PzKpfw IV Ausf. D

- British APC M3A1 Halftrack SAS, and Mobile AA Staghound Mk I

- SdKfz7 a towed gun Flak18

- The Soviet armored Ba-64

- German seaplane He-115C

But I was the happiest fan if there were modifications in our analogs of interesting models from other mods BF1942. Later, I'll make a list of them.

Vano, Panzer IV D, P-36 Hawk, Matilda Mk II (?!) are available in FHSW maps. As long as the Il-4 is in game files we can place it on any map right now, using server side modding. Sadly only Stefan may upload server files but he is veeery busy with other things (I belive so...) sad :(

Yes, I P-36, I saw it on Adak Islads. Mr J Please remember, on what maps you have seen the Soviet Matilda II and Pz IVD (hope you do not confuse it with the Pz IVF1)?
I quite forgot that the M19 Duster too. He's on the map Bombing the Reich.

Oh you did mean weapons used by Soviets, my mistake, sorry wacko So you are right, there is no russian Matilda in FHSW, delivered after the Lend Lease program. As well as an American and British airplanes used on Eastern Front are missing. I can't call to mind the soviet Matilda mk.II from FH neither. Did it have a custom skin?

About Panzer IV Ausf. D - I always was sure that the short barreled Panzer IV is the spoken Ausf. D surprised Yeah, F1 looks very similiar when compared to D.

We have all the maps of the Eastern Front Soviet Valentine II is replaced by Valentine VIII.
Also, the Soviet M3 Lee disappeared from the map of the A Day Citadel.
